Domum opened it’s doors in 2011 as a full service Architecture firm. In the early
days it was named after its two principal Architects as “de Jesus and Alatorre Architects, Inc.” Following several years of success and growth we re-branded as Domum in early 2016. This change was made to reflect the growing company extending beyond just the principal architects and refocus on the core values of the company as a team and partner, not just internally, but with our consultants and clients as well. Backyard Unlimited is owned by the Nathan Martin Family. Nathan was born and raised in Lancaster County Pennsylvania, in the heart of Amish country. After moving to California in 2007 and working in the shed industry for a couple of years, Nathan noticed that California needed a shed supplier who could offer the same quality and value that he remembered from his Amish neighbors back in Pennsylvania.
